3rd test BGT: BCCI needs to be ready in case Dharamsala ruled out due to ground problem.

        

The 3rd test between India and Australia in Border Gavaskar trophy 2023 can be shifted (by Indian Express). Currently going Border Gavaskar trophy in which India and Australia will play 4 match test series and 3 ODI match series with each other.

This test series is stared from 9 February 2023 in Nagpur at Vidarbha Cricket association Stadium and the second test in Arun Jaitley Cricket stadium in Delhi from 17 February 2023 to 21 February 2023 and the 3rd test is scheduled to be played in Dharamshala from 01 March 2023 and they are giving reason behind this is?

        

According to the Indian Express match in Dharamshala at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Stadium (HPCA) which is scheduled to start from 1 March 2023 can be shifted. The ground outfield is not ready yet and the time is running out for the HPCA to complete the ground for the third test. Pitch at the Himachal Predesh Cricket Stadium (HPCA) is also untested and the small patch near the pitch is the real worry.

12 Feb 2023 at which BCCI officials will inspect the HPCA pitch after that they will decide that this ground is suitable for the 3rd test or not, that is why BCCI doesn't want to take want to take any risk regarding to the test.

HPCA trying very hard to hold the test match at their ground and for them weather is also going to be big concern for them, rain is constantly coming at Dharamsala, curators need to find out that ground is ready or not to play or not only three weeks left in the match.

BCCI needs to be ready in case Dharamsala ruled out, there are many options in front BCCI one of them is Mohali which is nearest ground from Dharamsala, and the second one consideration is Bengaluru. BCCI needs to decide very quickly ton this matter if they decide to change the ground other ground also need some time to prepare to provide playing condition for an international match.
