The t20 world cup dates announced on 20 Jan 2022 by ICC and the most awaited match IND vs PAK will be played on 23 Oct 2022 on Melbourne Cricket Ground(MCG). The ICC announced their groups for Super 12 and the qualifiers there are two groups for super 12 teams out of them 8 teams are directly qualified and the remaining 4 spots will filled by the qualifier 2-2 top teams from their respective group.
The two groups and teams are: -
Group A :- Afghanistan, Australia, England, New Zealand and two team's from qualifiers A1(Rank 1 team from group A), B2(Rank 2 ream from group B).
Group B : - India, South Africa, Bangladesh, Pakistan, A2(Rank 2 team from group A), B1(Rank 1 in group B).
Firstly the qualifier round will be played from 16 Oct 2022 between Sri Lanka and Namibia in Geelong. IN 2014 the Sri Lanka was the world champions now they have to qualify for the super 12 and same for the West Indies two time Champions will play the qualifiers that"s the reality of this game you need to perform regularly.
