SRI LANKA WIN THE SERIES 2-0
Sri Lanka win match by 164 runs and win the series by 2-0 with spin dominating pitches both the teams used there spinner very well but sri-lanka get the advantages of bowling 4th inning Embuldeniya and Ramesh Mendis sum up the west indies on 132 in 56.1 overs.
Spinners took 36 wickets in this match, 18 wickets taken by Ramesh Mendis in this series he is also player of the series in Sobers-Tissera. De Silva played fantastic inning of 155 and 73 & 66 by Pathum Nissanka in this Test match for Sri lanka. In today's time west indies is not the same one what they were in 1980-95 especially with there bowling batting is on and off like in the series against Bangladesh in year 2020-21 they chase down the 400+ score in fourth inning with the fantastic batting of Mayers he scored the 200 in the match and especially on the turning tracks like Bangladesh and another 200+ inning by Jason holder against England that was also the match winning inning but the bowler are not good enough for any condition they are unable to take wickets in there own backyard.
west indies batters did not perform well in both innings only Kraigg 72 was only half centurion and Peramul took 8 wickets in this test match 5 in first innings and 3 wickets 2nd inning in this match and after the ball was changed in 2nd section of the match after the ball loose its shape Umpire Dharamsena decided to change after testing the ball.
